Most of the cars in the museum were from around WW1 area and a few were as new as the 30's. The collector was primarily a Plymouth man. Today the future of the collection is in limbo. Due to internal bickering within the city council, they lost a major source of donations from someone who took Shaniko under his arm. As a result, the funding is dried up, and the hotel the benefactor restored in now up for sale.
