This area is a designated OHV (off highway vehicle) area, and governed as such. All vehicles must have an off road sticker (proceeds pay for upkeep and law enforcement) and a 9' high flag pole with a flag. Many come out here and spend days off roading. We were on the dunes for a few hours and did not have time to see it all.
